Tiling Across the Page

A long tiling image that simply repeats accross the page like this: www.talentcake.com/therock-itt

To do this, upload the image you want to tile accross the page and select 'repeat x' then change the background colour to match the very bottom of your tile. This is so that on long pages where your fans have to scroll down, there is a seamless transition from the tile to the background colour.

To ensure that your background colour is exactly the same as the bottom of your tile, you can 'eyedrop' the bottom of your tile in photoshop to find out the colour code:

And then type that exact code into the background colour box in your 'site appearance':

Tips

• make sure that the bottom of your tile is completely one colour for a seemless effect
• your tile can be as short as you like, the background colour will appear under it
• you can also tile down the page by selecting 'repeat-y', in this case make sure the edges are the same as your background colour for a seemless effect
